A very well-preserved example of one of the all-time great classic typewriters. I have tested it and everything works perfectly except the spring button for the paper rest, but this can still be pulled up. I have also installed a new ribbon.

I have also replaced the lower frame washer/spaces as these have a tendency to breakdown after several decades causing the carriage to rub.
